It will not benefit your application to study a fourth A level, however, if you take a fourth A level it may be beneficial if one of the A levels you are studying does not meet the grade requirement.
If you choose to study four A levels it is not a problem if you choose to drop a subject as long as you can still meet the conditions of your offer with the subjects you continue to study.
