MDS is a conversion course (a programme of study that trains a graduate in a new subject and (usually) prepares them for a specific profession).

It caters for complete beginners and requires no prior knowledge of mathematics or programming.
Therefore, the course is not suitable to applicants with mathematic, scientific or computation backgrounds and they are referred to MISCADA course.
