If during the year, an applicant has experienced mitigating circumstances that may affect their exam performance, this should be reported to the relevant examination board, as they are the experts on their qualifications and are in the best position to assess the right level of mitigation for specific circumstances.

If the mitigating circumstances could have been reported to the examination board, we will be unable to consider these. However, if reporting these to the examination board has been impossible, you can to inform us by completing our Mitigating Circumstances form.
