Currently, the only Postgraduate Taught Programme which requires a reference is MA Conservation of Archaeological & Museum Objects.
We still need two references for our Postgraduate Research Programmes.
Ideally, a reference should cover the following:
It should be on a letter-headed paper, signed and dated within two years.
It should tell us about the relationship between the referee and applicant.
It should be written in English and should outline the applicant's suitability for the programme.
The length of time and capacity in which you have known the applicant.
Any other information you think is relevant and that you feel would help the University in making their decision.
